You've spent a large amount of money on a computer and then it goes wrong. Most of the places you buy computers these days are happy to sell you the computer, all the bits and pieces together with their the associated software, however, try to  get support and advice and that's a whole new ball game!

PC Home Start can offer the services you need!
We can provide  support in your home for you and your computer, offering independent advice and solutions where necessary.

The following situations are commonplace and can be resolved:

Internet Connection & Email Problems
Printer Problems
system instability causing frequent crashes
Virus Problems
PC Running Slowly (:- upgrade / disc /S/W )
Need for Advice or Training

Just call us on 0798 4430160 or 01785 228627 to arrange a home visit (evenings 5pm - 8pm) or you can drop off and collect.

There is a fixed callout fee of £25  which includes the first 1 hours work, sufficient to solve most problems. Subsequent hourly rate is £15, capped at £55. If we dont fix the problem you dont pay a thing!

Example1: Re-install operating system and all printer,scanner,sound and modem drivers = £40

Example2: Upgrade Hard Drive = £25 + parts

We operate this particular service within a 10 mile radius of our base in Stafford. Outside of this area, we can still offer the service, but we will quote you a price depending on your location.

Upgrades
The nature of PCs is such that there is likely to come a time when you want to upgrade your machine. That hard drive which once seemed so large that it would never need replacing can become so full that the system slows down or important software and work has to be deleted. The addition of a second "slave" drive is a quick job and could give your machine years more useful life. Similarly, the addition of extra memory can really speed up a sluggish computer.
 

PC upgrades are many and varied, concequently we are happy to quote a fixed fee for any upgrade you require.
